Lowell Neighborhood Scholarships: $500 and $1500 scholarships available for students going to a community college, university or vocational school. Applicants must have lived in the Lowell neighborhood for a minimum of one year (the Lowell neighborhood is defined by the boundaries of Divisadero to Belmont and H Street to Blackstone) OR have significantly participated in community activities in Lowell. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and demonstrate financial need as shown by an annual income of no more than twice the US 2014 Federal Poverty Level Matrix. Each applicant must submit a completed application and 3-5 page essay, one letter of recommendation, copy of transcripts and proof of income statement.
