One Family's Story

Martin & Jennifer Gonzalez

Long time residents of Lowell Martin & Jennifer had found themselves at their whits end renting their home that needed thousands of dollars for repair and pest control.

Lowell CDC purchased the house, addressed the city’s repair requirements, and brought it up to a livable condition. They also helped the family prepare financially to eventually buy the home. This support included financial education, homebuyer education, and credit repair, ensuring the family could afford the home in the future.
